About Me

My approach is grounded in an effort to understand how you experience yourself and your relationships, not just in reducing symptoms. I aim to create a space where we can explore your mind together and move toward meaningful growth.

I completed medical school and psychiatry residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where I was selected as chief resident during my final year. I also completed advanced psychotherapy training at the William Alanson White Institute and the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute.

After training, I remained at Mount Sinai Hospital as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and inpatient teaching attending on acute psychiatric units. I later completed a clinical fellowship in reproductive psychiatry at the Motherhood Center of New York, with a focus on mental health care throughout the perinatal period.

My clinical experience spans inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient levels of care. This continues to inform how I think about treatment, particularly in situations that involve complexity, risk, or diagnostic uncertainty.

I work with patients across a range of experiences, and approach each person as more than any diagnosis, level of functioning, or moment in time. My aim is to work together to understand you as a whole.
